Sharron Parris – Director

Sharron was born and brought up with 3 brothers on the peaks of the Clwydian Range in North Wales. Her early years spent as a true tomboy outside all day up trees, foraging and getting up to general mischief! Aged 11 the family moved into the valley beneath, to the little Village of LLanrhaeadr, where her first holiday job was at a fashion house and tea shop called "The Lodge in LLanrhaeadr." Owned by her dear Aunty Ida then, one of the great influencers in her young life. Not forgetting both her grandmothers huge impact into Fashion and textiles... Her father's Spanish mother was greatly gifted as a costume designer and her Mothers, mother a tailoress and curtain maker of the local Welsh town! - All these ladies impacted hugely on her journey... beginning with scraps of fabric, a pair of scissors, a needle, a roll of sellotape, and her beloved Cindy Doll! Aunty Ida introducing her to the designs of Christian Dior at the age of 14 and where she first stepped onto the catwalk at 15. Then at age 17 she moved to Manchester to join MMA model agency as a full time fashion Model.

She worked as a fashion model/Actress/Game Show hostess eek! living between Paris, Manchester and London. She then Married a professional sportsman at 28 and was blessed with her 2 beautiful and inspirational children Elliott and Hattie. Whilst being at home enjoying every minute of being a mum, the sewing bug began again, reading books on curtain making and taking on local jobs along side whipping up dance outfits for Hattie! to making curtains for Glyndebourne. Returning as a London House model aged 40 she worked at international Trade shows and as a fittings Model to perfect the final fit and movement of a garment, visiting Hong Kong, where the garment was finally signed off for production. On the final part of this journey in fittings, she had the true pleasure of working with the talented Designer Victor Herbert learning and listening to his great knowledge.

The past 12 years she has worked within the Ilse Jacobsen team as a Wholesale agent for 6 years selling the Danish Brand Ilse Jacobsen in to UK High Street Boutiques and Stores. In November 2013 she switched from wholesale to retail, to the frontline of sales and customer service and enjoyed every minute.
